Sjakk-OL
I helga var vi tre sjuke og ein frisk – den minste jenta mi. I det eg trudde vi var over det, så byrja Agnes å kaste opp i kveld. Etter nokre timar har ho sovna no. Eg skal arbeide litt.
I morgon vert årets sjakk-OL avslutta. Sjakk-OL er ei stor og tradisjonsrik turnering som vert spela annankvart år. I 2008 går arrangementet av stabelen i tyske Dresden. Det er eit stort arrangement med vel 160 deltakarland. Det er både dameklasse og herreklasse (eller åpen klasse som den heiter).
Nivået er særs høgt i denne verdsidretten, det er tøft å hevde seg. Noreg stiller eit sterkt lag i år som eg trudde kunne hevde seg høgt oppe. Etter ein særs god start med siger mot Kina og uavgjort mot England, har ikkje Noreg innfridd. Laget ligg som nummer 28 før siste runde.
Fleire norske aviser har dekning av turneringa, sjå mellom anna Nettavisen som kanskje er Noregs beste medium på sjakk. Den offisielle heimesida med resultat, live parti mm finn du her.
Eg er ein stor sjakkentusiast, og kjem garantert tilbake til dette flotte spelet seinare.

“Kanskje” Noregs beste medium på sjakk, skriver han. Jeg er nokså enig i at det kanskje er det. http://www.bergensjakk.no er også veldig, veldig bra. Jeg mener at disse to ikke har noen reelle konkurrenter om den “tittelen”.
